Step into my garden

A beautiful garden is a work of art. But it also depends on the laws of nature and should not only be attractive but also serve the practical needs of the owner.

The layout of the garden should be logical. Every thing in the garden should create a natural look and not a forced one. The garden design should assure pleasingly attractive results.

Principle

A Rock garden is best placed on a slope and not on level ground. Plants that grow in dry location should not be planted beside a pool . A garden is a place for a lilac bush and not poplar tree. In a garden, shapes should be clean and definite. Oval and circles are suitable for flower beds. Every garden needs a dominating feature that sets a tone and gives it a character.

It would be wrong to put a brightly-coloured flower bed with pieces of modern sculpture. Harmony could be achieved by using elements and placing them randomly in an attractive arrangement. Contrast can be achieved by placing two elements next to each other that are markedly different in form and colour. When designing a garden, the effect of light and shade should be taken into account.
